In one of our most recent and complete living room transformations, we set out to create a space that feels calm, grounded, and effortlessly beautiful — a room where every object has meaning, and every material invites you to slow down.

At the heart of this design is harmony: neutral tones, natural textures, and pieces that don’t compete — they converse.

The Set: Icons, Tactility, and Space to Breathe

The foundation of this space is a selection of signature Joii pieces, each chosen for its form, function, and presence:

Joii Accent Armchair – architectural, iconic, with real rattan seating that breathes and ages gracefully.

Cloud Sofa – a soft sculptural anchor, wrapping the room in a feeling of comfort and lightness.

Handle Table – a tactile side table with personality and movement.

Fluted Coffee Table – natural rhythm in wood, grounding the space with texture and symmetry.

Terra Painting – abstract and earthy, it mirrors the palette of the room: clay, cream, stone, and wood.

Olive Tree – a simple gesture of nature, creating vertical movement and Mediterranean calm.

Why It Works

The neutral tones make the room feel larger and calmer. The natural materials — rattan, solid wood, soft fabrics — connect us back to earth. And the mix of sculptural and subtle shapes adds both movement and stillness.
